Untitled digital photograph, 2012
The first picture was taken outside the London Transport Museum shop and the second at Dulwich Park, London, UK. I think they belong together.

Also: I have a very small book work in an exhibition, inside a wallet somewhere in Deptford Park, 25th May, 2012. If you want to come along, I guess you have to look out for a group of artists waving bottles of cheap hooch, passing a wallet around. Good luck.
Beautiful shots!!
Thanks Santi!
I followed the link to the poster, but got this message:

That’s really strange. I just tried it on a different PC and it works OK for me.
You’re right of course Cardinal – because even though I was on another PC, I was logged in as me – must have linked to a local file. I’ll have a go at fixing it later on. Thanks for pointing it out.
They belong together. 🙂 Nice shots. For the some reason the link for the poster isn’t working on my computer. Maybe I’ve had too much of that “cheap hooch” you mentioned. The blog title had me intrigued – sounded like a joke was coming a la “a duck walks into a bar, Man behind the bar says,…”
Have fun at the expo.
Thanks Mobius! Yes, there’s definitely a story/ joke in there somewhere. I was going to try and write one, but I thought leaving it open to interpretation was better…Ah, yes I seem to have hit a technical glitch there – I’ll try and sort it later. 🙂
Link broken for me too:(
re: Duck do they belong together because of texture or that they are each in deep thought:)
Sorry Deanne. I’ve tried to fix the link problem and failed, so I’ve plumped for a thumbnail instead – don’t think it detracts too much. Re: Duck – for me it’s the texture/ pattern. I really like ducks.
EDIT: I just saw your:) at the end there (need new glasses) – Didn’t mean to come across as humourless. 🙂
It’s amazing what new glasses can do! I just got new contacts. I thought it was the texture in fact.
I really must get some. Everything’s blurry today. Yes, depth isn’t my thing 🙂
I love how you juxtapose your photographs. A duck and a man–seemingly unrelated–but our minds can draw connections from any two things, given enough creativity.
Thanks Billimarie. Glad you like them. I love making those connections – sometimes they’re forced and others, like this, are quite open.
Good luck with the exhibition Richard
Thanks Russell. My main challenge is going to be finding it, I think.
