Street Portrait (for and of Stephanie), 2012
Well, Winter is here (according to the meteorologists), and today saw the first flakes of snow to hit Beckenham. Stephanie was walking down Great Queen’s Street, London a couple of days before Winter started, but it was still COLD. I’d forgotten my fingerless gloves, so hadn’t been concentrating too well on the photography. Then I saw Stephanie coming towards me. “What a stunning look!” I thought and bounded up to her. She was so nice about posing in front of the roll-down shutter (the lines were so strong) as I fluffed the first three shots. This was the fourth. Thank you so much, Stephanie! Hope you like your picture.
