Skin I’m In #1, #2, 2013
* * *
This post is dedicated to absent friends, Deanne and Terry. And not at all absent friend, Richard from CK Ponderings. Hope your evenings are treating you well, wherever you are.
Love these two, especially that red 11 on the black door. Hope your evening is treating you well, as well.
Thank you very much, Alison – I’m gently drifting now – so I’m happy – it’s been a long day.
Can’t say if the 3 words (poem for me) are more intense or the two images. They’re meant to compliment, fair enough.
Great, glad you like it, Arjun.
Every skin a little different. Lots of delicate details that make these intriguing.
Thanks very much, Karen.
Evocative! Just enough to pull us in and participate.
Thanks very much, Elena! I’m glad it worked.
Lots to absorb from both images. 11 is my favourite number, and I love the off centre subtleness of #1 reclusive, shutting us out. #2 took me somewhere entirely different, medical with flakey peely skin and calipers.
Really glad you like #1. That’s a really interesting interpretation – thanks!
Great skins,Richard! Rich with possibilities, implications, words… sensations… worth a million words… 🙂
Thanks so much, MJ! I’m glad they work (virtually) wordlessly.
Great images – again, it’s the behind the scenes theme that works really well. And my evenings are treating me very nicely, thank you! I trust yours are too. 😀
Thank you, Sir! 🙂 Glad you’re having good pms. Yes, ish…
beautiful abstracts and skins 🙂
Thank you so much, Carla! 🙂
Thanks so much! That’s a great compliment coming from you! I’ve figured out how to follow your blog by email, so have.
Aww. Jee thanks Richard! I have been missing following my blog pals. Love that first image. Very painterly.
Hey, fantastic to hear from you and you’re welcome! Thanks very much, Deanne – yes, I was thinking Ben Nicholson when I took it. Hope all’s well with you.
