Listening Wind, 2013
I LOVE Construction pictures!
Me too. It’s a while since I posted any building site shots…
I have a zillion- need the time and challenge!
I challenge you 🙂
I am in the Construction Industry and love Architecture- GAME ON- how do you propose to try and win this wager… We’d both have to start new blogs!
Great shot – something about concrete…
Thanks very much – yes, it’s very photogenic, I think.
Ohhh, all the splendid lines and angles. Wonderful dimension here. Nice!
Thanks very much, Melanie!
Listening Wind- I wish I wrote that 🙂 The one biomorphic soft rounded shape of man within the manmade structure is so powerful and yet it could all be the sound of wind chimes
Me too (David Byrne is responsible) 🙂 That’s a beautiful comment, thank you Carla!
I also love the angles and the lines… when you look at construction from this perspective, it’s a wonder it stays up… looks like pick up sticks to me 🙂
Yes, it looks really quite fragile doesn’t it? Thanks very much, EllaDee.
Great lines and perspective, Richard! 🙂
Thank you, Richard! 🙂
No worries! 🙂
Wonderful, like patchwork.
Thanks so much, Alison.
Thank you very much!
Vertigo! Great shot. The lines, corners and angles. A mix of Xul Solar and Chico Buarque.
Yes, don’t think I could go up there. Thanks, Laura for the intro to those two – I’ll investigate further – very interesting! And thanks very much for the compliment.
Organized chaos. Somehow I think your photograph of process will be more interesting than the finished product. There is a wonderful rhythm in this (with a heartbeat). I love the listening wind.
Thanks very much, Karen. You’re probably spot on there – suspect it will be concrete and red brick with maybe a little twist when it’s done. I’ll go back in a few month’s time and have a look.
Follow the angles like a ladder, all the way to the top. Terrific.
Really glad you like it, Elena. Thanks very much!
This is a symphony of angles!
That is a lovely comment! Thanks so much, Cardinal!
That looks like the inside of my head at the moment!
Yep, know that feeling!
Fabulous lines, this would look great framed..very musical..
Thanks very much, Cath. Yes, kind of Stravinsky or Glass – thanks.
This moves in so many wonderful directions, even with all the lines and hard angles, or is that because of them . . . .?
Ha, ha, yes. Thanks very much, Patti!
Love the title. Cool image!
One of David Byrne’s best. Thanks very much, Arjun!
Great shot. There is a lot going on in the shot, but the figure in the middle brings it all together.
Thanks very much, Stevie.
