Street Portrait (for and of Karl Matthews), 2013

So, the other week I found myself on Savile Row, London, UK (taking the scenic route back from a window-shopping trip). I’d forgotten what a great street it is. I spotted Karl Matthews from a distance. He was talking with a couple of acquaintances, so I busied myself with “test shots” of the architecture while I waited to pounce. When I asked him for a couple of shots, Karl was great about it. What incredible style he brought to it too! And it turned out Karl is a Savile Row bespoke tailor himself. You can visit his stylish and fascinating blog here. Thanks very much, Karl! Hope you like your picture!
