Street Portrait (for and of Leah), 2013

Leah was standing outside Charing Cross station in London, UK, eating a sandwich. Scanning the crowd I was immediately struck by her understated but elegant style. I waited for her to finish, then legged it over and popped the question. She was lovely about it and let me take several shots. Leah wasn’t too happy with my first four or five attempts. So I took a couple more. This is the penultimate shot and my favourite. Leah hasn’t seen it yet. Thanks very much, for giving me so much of your time, Leah! Hope you like your picture.
