The wings are following her around. She may not know about them yet…
I think that outfit is perfect for them, though.
There is something very lovely about this.
Love the composition here. My eye is drawn into the image by her figure, then down to her boots, then to the shadow, and across the wall to where it started. Has a nice elliptical composition. Well done.
Thanks very much, Jennifer. This photograph has lain in my “archive” for about eight months while I decided whether or not I liked it. Glad you like it. And thanks for a great comment.
Yes, indeed. It’s an interesting area (on the South side of Waterloo Station, just over the pedestrian bridge); there’s an emotional edge to it, I think, maybe because it’s so close to a means of escape.
fantastic, she has an angel watching over her.
Thanks very much, John.
Stealth mode Richard?
Ho, yes!
heheeeee!

Yes, indeed. Thanks, TBD!
First or last bus? This is just too cool. I like.
Thanks very much, George. Glad you like it. 🙂
Very well captured… 🙂
Thank you, Sir 🙂
That shadow!
Love the diagonals too.
Yes, I think the shadow makes the shot. Thanks very much!
I’m relieved she has a guardian. The mood is mysterious-anything might happen…Great Richard!
Yes, it was a really odd quality of light and she moved through it perfectly. Thanks very much, Elena!
the angel of the runaways… ?
Interesting interpretation, thanks, Inge!
it’s because on this kind photos there more to see than what most people see 😉
Nice contemplative shot with some great shadowplay. When I saw the title, I started to think about Paul McCartney 🙂
Is that a good thing? 🙂 Thanks very much, Stevie. Much appreciated.
