That’s great! I love how the subtle lights are moving away from your head like thought bubbles.
Thanks very much, Karen! What a great observation – thanks!
It’s a soft and fine portrait. I agree with Karen who observed the thought bubbles. Cool.
I agree too 🙂
Thanks very much, George. I really like Karen’s observation – it really adds to the image.
very cool – love your natural feel mixed with the tech too – like your headphones and her gadget – then all the reflections – very tasty photo
Thanks very much, Y! That’s a lovely description – the word tasty reminds me of Jerry Cornelius.
Love it!
Thanks very much! I’m really glad you like it.
Richard, you put so much of yourself into your work.. 😉
🙂
Nice Richard. Much better than any I do.
Thanks so much, Leanne.
Excellent… 😉
Thank you, Sir! 🙂
Oh, I love it! It takes something one usually tries to avoid and uses that element in a novel way that works so well as a wonderful, reflective composition!
Thanks so much, Ellen – I like doing things the wrong way; you sometimes get good results, and it’s always funny when you do.
Beautiful reflection and a great selfie, Richard! 🙂 What was the tune of the moment?
Thank you, my friend 🙂 I’m not sure what I was listening to – probably Siouxsie.
🙂
Excellent. Of course I love all those busy lines. Neurons firing made visible somehow. There is an electric feel to it. Very cool.
Thanks so much, Melanie. I’m a sucker for busy lines…
I agree with the tought bubble comments. Wonderful reflection/self-portrait photo.
Thanks very much for the compliment, Cardinal!
Like it – lots of lines
Thanks very much, Alison – glad you like it.
Love the ‘intrusion’ of geometric images around and on the background or maybe foreground by the ‘woman’ and ‘tree’ making the tree almost like a vessel of some sort.
That’s such an interesting observation and one I thought about myself – the tree looks like an enabler of some kind. Thanks very much, Steven. Glad you like it.
Very cool, Richard 😉
Thanks very much, Anette 🙂
Love the selfie–mysterious! The woman in the background catches my attention too.
Thanks very much, Jennifer.
Your signature reflection (at least how I think of it), works perfectly for a selfie!
I’m really glad you think so! I like appearing and not appearing at the same time. Thanks very much, Elena!
Wow. Love this.
Thanks very much – I’m really glad you like it.
This is a very striking scene, Richard and again gives the brain so much to focus on, beautiful composition.
Thanks very much, Cheryl. It’s funny how you can photograph the same spot over and over again and then one day it just works.
That’s the beauty with reflected images in a busy street, no two photographs are the same even if you’re fixed in the same spot as the photographer, the images in front are constantly moving. This certainly works!
Wonderful sense of distance and connection in this scene Richard!
Thanks so much, Patti!
Really nice composition
Thanks very much, Stevie!

There is a lot to find in this image. Its softness is part of the mystery.
Yes, the focus is most definitely not on me. Thanks very much, Philippa.
