I really like these images where you just show a snippet of people, it looks good and leaves room for one’s imagination.
Glad you like them, Ashley. Thanks very much.
I agree with Ashley. Great shot. You wonder what has happened before this break and what they are talking about.
Yes, I often wonder – I pass this place every day.
It does look like the country house
Ha, ha, yes I thought so – it’s the back of a restaurant/ café.
Chefs having a break. It’s hard work. Nice shot Richard.
Yes, wouldn’t want to do it myself. Thanks very much, Cardinal.
There’s no excuse for Crocs.
I think the excuse is that they are quite sensible work wear.
Excellent.
Thanks very much, Rabirius.
Nicely anonymous, and great crocs! 🙂
Thanks very much, Richard! 🙂
I love everything about this, and there is ALWAYS an excuse for crocs! 😉
Thanks so much, Alex! 🙂
” Confessions Intimes ” , Ah si les murs avaient des oreilles …!!!
Ha, ha, quite. When I had jobs like that I was more candid I think – I miss those people.
Double stripes, double crocs, double delight:)
🙂 Thanks so much, Elena!
Implied spaces of identity – what exists beyond the crocs. 🙂
Very interesting. There are a number of implied spaces – lives have been poured into those crocs for however many hours – here they are peaking out for a moment.
I can hear them chatting away! Wonderful!
Thanks very much, Mary Ann – much appreciated!
Catch of the day!
Indeed!
Great shot and humorous, too, Richard!
Ha, ha, thanks very much, Ellen!
I love this. Something about the juxtaposition of the old heavy, solid (yet cracking) walls (with the vertical and horizontal lines I always like) and the soft, squashy crocs makes the humans behind the cigarettes seem extra vulnerable somehow.
That’s such an interesting observation – maybe that was what made me take it – I’ve passed this spot every week day for the last seven years.
