– Street Portrait (for and of Leon Hart), 2015 –
This is the third time I have taken Leon’s portrait. I first photographed him in July 2012, (and posted the shot during science fiction fortnight on TFIPM, naming it after Ray Bradbury’s The Illustrated Man (1951). You can read the original post here). I ran into Leon again in March 2014 (in the meantime I went to an exhibition featuring his exceptional work at the Brick Lane Gallery) – and he was good enough to let me take a second portrait; you can see that one here.
The shot above was taken last Friday – I was just giving up on the day, when I spotted Leon again. It was really good to catch up. Thanks very much, Leon! Hope you like your picture.

Ashley Lily Scarlett and I have started a new blog together. It’s a conversation in pictures and it’s called Between Scarlett and Guest.
