Is the number 2 a pun or just it’s sequence? I do like this its very appealing with the different layers, it looks like a finger coming out at the bottom too as i can make out a fingernail. I really am enjoying watching the development of your work Richard, keep it up.
The overall shape vaguely/surreally resembles a turkey drumstick with a a thumb at the end. This is obviously a statement on transgenic modified food and/or a statement on the current state of American Republican nominations. 😀
Despite the potato Richard, I’m still trying to decipher what a thumb penis is…but it has grit and possibility. Just look how it is sublimating all the arrows….LOL This is really fun…
🙂 Thanks so much, Lemony! Really glad you like it. This one has set me on a different course – I’m working on a small painting/ sculpture/ installation at the moment. Giving myself the freedom to add my own brushstrokes in this opened the door.
So bizarre, Richard! I love it!
Excellent! Glad to hear it! Thanks, Ashley.

Ha, ha, brilliant! Thank you, my friend.
Bizarre and slightly disturbing, though I can’t quite put my finger on why. But I like it!
Ha, ha, thanks very much, Stevie.

The number is just its sequence. Number three due next week. Thanks so much, Leon – really appreciate your comment. Interesting that you see a finger.

Ha, ha, thanks very much, Jana!
Ummm…perhaps it’s obvious I spend a lot of time with a two year old fascinated with his anatomy. (LOL)
Ha, yes. My son (7) made a similar comparison.
Intriguing collage, Richard! I like the thumbs up/down and the way it mixes with the arrows. 🙂
Thanks very much, Richard!
Excellent image.
Thanks very much, Rabirius.
So many thoughts about this one. Engaging for sure.
Great to read again – thanks so much, Elena.
HAHAHAHA! Fabulous! The composition is GREAT! And just so funny. (As always the balance is perfect).
