I ran into Leon late last week – I’ve not been taking many street shots recently, so it was great to catch up, and Leon was good enough to let me take his portrait. Thanks very much, Leon! Hope you like your picture.

This is the fourth time I have taken Leon’s portrait. I first photographed him in July 2012, (and posted the shot during science fiction fortnight on TFIPM, naming it after Ray Bradbury’s The Illustrated Man (1951). You can read the original post here). I ran into Leon again in March 2014 (in the meantime I went to an exhibition featuring his exceptional work at the Brick Lane Gallery) – and he was good enough to let me take a second portrait; you can see that one here.
