– (Are You) Lonesome 2nite, 2016 –
Prints of selected digital constructs like the one above are now available to buy from Saatchi Art.
And I have just made my combination pictures available to buy as prints from Metro Imaging. The shop is here.
Love the plastic bag culture in your artwork. Lovely Papier Mache selection too. Would love to buy your prints if I could, but at the moment I have no money and no space left on my walls. I see that you studied in nearby Winchester School of Art, before you went on to Slade. Did you know that, that is part of Southampton University now?
Thanks very much. Yes, WSA has been part of SU since not long after I left – that year on Foundation was one of my happiest in education. We had fantastic tutors and the other students were lovely. I miss those times. Used to shop for clothes and visit the gallery in Southampton on the weekends, oh and go clubbing…
Yep Southampton is certainly good for clubbing…
The carrier bags are back! It was starting to seem lonely without them. Cracking as always Richard.
Ha, ha, yes. Thanks so much, Leon. Much appreciated.
A lovely combination of colours and textures, Richard! 🙂
Thank you, my friend!
Just popped in … and I so love your work featured in the gallery and the shop! They look amazing and all together, they dazzle even more! I think you should sell in lots of ten, no less! And I am so happy for you! And another “and” … you have such a beautiful, artists face! So lovely to see you! 😊 Love to you and your lovely family! Xo
Hi Gigi! Thanks so much (insert blushing emoticon)! Love to you and yours! 🙂
Saatchi wow I’m impressed 😀And I love the new work too
Thanks so much, Carla 🙂
Fantastic Richard…I toured both galleries and what a great showing.
Thanks very much, Jana – glad you like them. Much appreciated.
Great to hear you are printing! I’d still love a book of your portraits, too 🙂
🙂 I’ll give it some thought…
Hope they find what they’re looking for!
Lovely playful image. Good luck with the sales – does fame and fortune await? 🙂
Thanks very much, Stevie. Fortune would be nice 🙂
LOVE this image. It’s alive!
Really glad you like it, Elena! thanks very much.
Excellent and intriguing continuation of the series, and another marvelous composition. Can’t wait to see how things develop.
Thanks very much, Lemony.
