– Street Portrait (for and of Fuki), 2017 –
Fuki was just outside Urban Outfitters in Covent Gardend when I spotted her. She walks pretty quickly, but I caught up with her and she was great about me taking a few shots. This is the first and is my favourite. Thanks very much, Fuki! Hope you like your picture.

😉
Again, an excellent portrait.
Thanks very much, Rabirius.
Excellent, Richard. You get so many direct gazes from your subjects; you must be very good at putting people at their ease.
Thanks very much, Ashley. Yes, not sure how that works, but…
Probably because you’re a nice person, my friend.
Pretty picture, so many round shapes, eyes, features, cap, pearls, neckline. And a few strong lines, the V of the vest or sweater.
Thanks very much, Ray!
You seem to catch something of each person’s soul Richard, I feel it in many of your portraits. Love the ice white details too.
That’s such an incredibly nice compliment – thanks very much, Cath!
Lovely composition again, Richard! 🙂
Thanks very much, Richard!
For and of Fuki, sounds of a song. Great shot
Thanks very much, Jessie. Yes, totally – by Spike Jones and the City Slickers! maybe.
Great portrait, with all the pearls and beret and her placid face.
Thanks very much, Ellen.
Beautiful serenity!
Yes, absolutely!
Fab look/style and great portrait – intense but gentle at the same time.
Yes, I love Fuki’s style – really elegant. Thanks very much, Stevie.
For someone in a hurry she looks perfectly serene! Well captured, Richard.
Yes, totally. Thanks so much, Emily.
Marvelous straight lines and curves!
Yes, it’s a great look isn’t it?
Hi Richard, a very striking portrait, which was worth the brisk walk!
Thanks very much, Cheryl! Yes, indeed. It’s quite fun chasing people, ha ha. Sound like a stalker…
