October’s Print of the Month is now available to buy here.

Sparrowfall (II) was one of the first steps in me making a transition from street photography to painting. It’s constructed from elements of street shots taken in early 2015. There are two versions of the image – this is my current favourite. Sparrowfall (II) will be available until the end of October 2018.

Just a quick update on the different ways to see my work online:

Today sees the launch of my website: https://richardguest.art/ , which includes a print of the month (this month it’s the turn of Into The Light from 2014, which was taken on Hungerford Bridge, London, UK).

Works in progress, street portraits and sneak peeks of finished paintings are all featured on my Instagram feed. I update the feed three times a week, and you can find it here.

Ashley Lily Scarlett and I are still conversing in pictures…more news on Between Scarlett and Guest soon…

City Stories Final small white on red proper white

Hello! I’ve just opened an Etsy shop selling prints of my photographs. The idea at the moment is to concentrate on shots that have some kind of implied narrative (hence the name). I’m a long way from printing my own stuff, but I’ve found a lab in the City, who make very good archival prints.

I’ll be adding shots to the shop from time to time, but there is a facility on Etsy to do private sales, so if there is anything on The Future Is Papier Mâché you would like a copy of that’s not in the shop, I’ll try my best to get it printed for you.

That’s all, thanks for reading! Have to go; I hear cash registers ringing…
