SONY DSCStreet Portrait (for and of James), 2013

Somehow Cecil Court, where I spotted James (his hat and coat spoke to me from the other end of the arcade) has not been on my radar (although the pub on the corner was for a number of years). It’s a fascinating little pedestrian street crammed with antiquarian bookshops and print and art galleries, so I’ll be going back regularly. James stood out from the crowd – dapper, considered and with an intellectual air. And he was fantastic about letting me take several shots. Again this was the first and best – I love the Salvador Dali meets William Burroughs pose he struck – something else! Thanks very much, James! Hope you like your picture.

Street Portrait (for and of Anthony), 2013

Today was a pretty good day, photographically speaking. And then I spotted Anthony walking down Kingsway. And it got better. What incredible style! He very kindly posed for a couple of shots – this is my favourite. Thanks very much for the picture, Anthony! I hope you like it.
