Street Portrait (for and of Phil), 2014– Street Portrait (for and of Phil), 2014 –

It started as a bad day, Monday, but just after 2pm, it improved dramatically – I ran into Phil, just off Seven Dials in London, UK. He was easily the most stylish person on the street and he was great about me taking a few shots of him. This is the first and is my favourite. Thanks very much, Phil! Hope you like your picture.

Becky and Pablo, 2013

OK, this was taken a little while ago on Neal Street in Covent Garden, London, UK. Becky and Pablo were on their way somewhere and I follwed them and then badgered them for a photograph. They were great about it and posed for a few shots. I love their relaxed style – another melange of classic periods. Thanks very much, Becky and Pablo! Hope you like your pictures.

Street Portrait (for and of Lewis), 2013

So, I’d taken a shot of Harmony, and hung around outside the back entrance to Somerset House (there was a Valentino show on), and decided to cross Waterloo Bridge. There was the remains of fog in the air, which I was trying to capture, when I spotted Lewis on the other side of the bridge. It was another race against time to get across two lanes of traffic. All I’d seen of him was a silhouette, but I knew he was going to be a great subject. But when I got up close, wow what a look!  Thanks very much, Lewis – I’m really grateful to you for letting me take a few shots! Hope you like your picture.

Street Portrait (for and of Fabio), 2013

Street Portrait (for and of Flavio), 2013

The fourth of February was a ridiculously good day for me photographically, and it started with me meeting Fabio and Flavio on what is effectively a traffic island with a pub on it near Haymarket. They were both unbelievably cool and definitely on their way somewhere. So I was really please when they very generously agreed to a few shots. Thank you both very much! I hope you like your pictures.
