Street Portrait (for and of Sofia), 2015– Street Portrait (for and of Sofia), 2015 –

These were taken outside Charing Cross Station. The moment I saw Sofia I knew I wanted to photograph them. And luckily for me they were great about it. These are the first and second shots – I couldn’t decide between them. Thanks very much, Sofia! Hope you like your pictures.

Street Portrait (for and of Pia), 2014– Street Portrait (for and of Pia), 2014 –

Not strictly speaking in the street this shot – I spotted Pia outside Tate Modern on the South Bank of the Thames. She was easily the most stylish person there (and she’s a photographer too), and she was great about me taking a few shots. This was the third and final and is my favourite. Thanks very much, Pia! Hope you like your picture.

Street Portrait (for and of Jason), 2014– Street Portrait (for and of Jason), 2014 –

Jason had the most fantastic shirt on. I really should have asked him where it was from, but I didn’t. He was great about having his photograph taken (so many times) – this was the final shot and is my favourite. Thanks very much, Jason! Hope you like your picture.

If you are interested in self-portraits, I recommend you visit Strata of the Self. It’s beautiful.

Street Portrait (for and of Clair) #1, 2013

Street Portrait (for and of Clair) #2, 2013

I absolutely love Clair’s style. Couldn’t resist including the B&W shot here for obvious reasons. Claire very generously said yes to me taking a few shots of her on Great Queen Street (which seems to be a magnet for the well-dressed and hip at the moment). Thanks very much for letting me interrupt you, Clair! Hope you like your picture.

Street Portrait (for and of Chris), 2013

This was taken today on Kingsway, London, UK. Chris was crossing the road when I spotted him. He looked great, so I asked for a portrait. He very generously agreed and suggested I took a shot from behind…

Street Portrait (for and of Simone), 2013

This was taken today on Neal Street, London, UK. I really loved Simone’s confident and definite look. As a militant spectacles wearer, I was also very impressed with her glasses. Simone was really nice about me taking loads of shots. Thanks very much, Simone! Hope you like your picture.
