Yeah, me too, but I do have the occasional fantasy of being some kind of ninja superhero. Which is really funny if you could see how clumsy I really am. 🙂
Thanks very much, Steven! It’s interesting, but putting an image next to another one always seems to do it for me. On a related but different subject, have you seen La Jetée (1962)?
No, it’s not an influence or anything – I just think it’s a fascinating idea, constructing a movie from stills. I caught a clip of it the other day and thought about how much narrative Marker managed to cram in there. The gaps between the shots made me think about the gaps between your images.
Excellent pictures.
Thanks very much, Rabirius. Much appreciated.
That guy, is he doing parkour?
Lovely photo of the woman too.
Yes, I think so – he was with two friends and they worked their way down the street from rooftop to rooftop. Thanks very much, Cardinal.
Sounds like a suicide mission to me!
Blimey! That first one is stunning! I’m off to google ‘parkour’ now. 🙂
Oooh! I wish I could do that!
It makes me feel feeble just thinking about doing it…

Thanks so much, Ashley!
Nice shots, Richard… Did he jump or was he pushed?! 🙂 (Loving Cloud 4 too – nice relaxed, candid shot).
Thanks very much, Richard! Ha, yes – he most definitely jumped and jumped and jumped. I wonder if the people in the buildings below could hear them.
Gorgeous framing in these great shots Richard!
Thanks very much, Patti!
Love this narrative between the two!

I’ve seen it, or parts of it. Time to revisit it again perhaps. Is it a favourite of yours? An influence at all? A compatriot spirit?

Love these both Richard. The top one is interesting, little glimpses into the lives of others, but also intriguing, not getting the full story.
Thanks very much, Alison. Glad you like them.
En fait la fille est entrain de boire le mec et son skate…!!! champion richard pour cette boisson instantanée , OUPS, photo instantanée…!!!
Ha, ha, merci beaucoup!
I love the mystery and potential of each image. Wonderful!
Thanks so much, Elena! Yes, I liked it that something’s about to happen in both pictures.
So good! You are a brilliant observer, Richard. Impeccable moments and timing.
Thanks so much, Karen!
